    Guwahati, Dec 18 (IANS) Assam Tea price Rs 2,300 crore has been bought at Guwahati Tea Public sale Centre (GTAC) within the monetary 12 months 2023-24.Roughly 115 million kg of tea was bought at a median worth of Rs 198.51 per kg, as per GTAC knowledge.

    Guwahati Tea Public sale Patrons Affiliation (GTABA) Secretary Dinesh Bihani stated that this 12 months a novel tea referred to as ‘Golden Needle’ was bought for Rs 61,000 per kg.

An estimated 115 million kg of tea was bought between April 1 and the primary week of December at a median worth of Rs 198.51 per kg.
